Moses Silverman Discusses Reversal of Trump-Era Immigration Policy on Gray Television

April 26, 2022

In an interview that aired on regional news stations across the country, litigation of counsel Moses Silverman discussed Biden v. Texas, the Supreme Court case surrounding the reversal of a Trump-era policy that makes asylum seekers wait in Mexico until their asylum claims are heard.

Moses, who with a Paul, Weiss team filed an amicus brief in the court last month in support of the Biden administration’s position on behalf of former Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson and former U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Rebecca Jacobson, says that a decision in the case will not solve immigration policy in the U.S., but will have ramifications for executive branch policy-making and tens of thousands of immigrants impacted by the policy.

The piece was produced by Gray Television, the nation’s largest owner of local TV and digital news assets.
