Paul, Weiss is providing pro bono support to Tax Free. Period., a campaign led by Period Equity to eliminate the tampon tax by mobilizing legal action and public support. The campaign officially launched today, November 20, 2019, with Period Equity’s letter to the governors of the 33 states that tax menstrual products, encouraging them to take a stand and outlaw the tax. Period Equity is the nation’s first law and policy organization fighting for menstrual equity. Paul, Weiss is participating alongside law firms WilmerHale, Mayer Brown, Hausfeld, and Emery Celli Brinckerhoff & Abady.
