Paul, Weiss is advising Searchlight Capital Partners in its $1 billion all-cash acquisition, in partnership with fintech company Rêv Worldwide, Inc., of Netspend’s consumer business from Global Payments. Netspend is a leading provider of payments and financial solutions for consumers and businesses. The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of 2023, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.
