Paul, Weiss advised global industrial technology company Aptiv on the separation of its Electrical Distribution Systems business into a new publicly traded company, Versigent PLC. The transaction, executed via a tax-free spinoff to Aptiv shareholders, creates a global leader in the purposeful design and advanced manufacturing of low and high voltage electrical architectures. Aptiv retains its Advanced Safety & User Experience business and the Engineered Components Group.
