Chesapeake Lodging Trust to Be Acquired by Park Hotels & Resorts in $2.7 Billion Deal

Paul, Weiss is representing real estate investment trust Chesapeake Lodging Trust in its approximately $2.7 billion acquisition by Park Hotels & Resorts Inc. Chesapeake Lodging Trust is focused on investments primarily in upper-upscale hotels in major business and convention markets and, on a selective basis, premium select-service hotels in urban settings or unique locations in the United States. The transaction is expected to close late in the third quarter or early fourth quarter of 2019.
