Paul, Weiss is advising Restaurant Brands International Inc. (RBI) in its $1 billion all-cash acquisition of Firehouse Restaurant Group Inc. Frequently rated the number-one brand in the quick-service restaurant sandwich category for food quality, Firehouse Subs adds a strong and beloved brand with attractive unit economics in a complementary category to RBI’s existing family of iconic brands, Tim Hortons®, Burger King® and Popeyes®. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
