PulteGroup to Acquire Homebuilding Assets From John Wieland Homes

PulteGroup, Inc. announced that it has agreed to acquire certain homebuilding assets of Paul, Weiss client John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods, one of the country's premier builders of move-up and luxury homes. As part of the transaction, PulteGroup expects to acquire approximately 7,400 controlled lots and 280 homes in backlog. The purchase price of the transaction, which is expected to close by the first quarter of 2016, is approximately $430 million to $450 million, subject to any final post-closing adjustments.
