Wood Group to Sell Built Environment Unit to WSP Global in $1.9 Billion Carve-Out Sale

Paul, Weiss is advising Aberdeen, Scotland-based John Wood Group PLC as U.S. counsel on the sale of its Built Environment consulting business to WSP Global Inc. for gross proceeds of approximately $1.9 billion. Built Environment Consulting is a leading environmental consulting and engineering services business with over 100 offices predominantly in North America. The deal is expected to be completed in the second half of 2022, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
