Paul, Weiss is representing Diamond Offshore Drilling, Inc. and select subsidiaries in their voluntary chapter 11 petitions, filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. Facing the multiple impacts of the OPEC-Russia price war and the COVID-19 pandemic, Diamond, a Houston-based offshore rig contractor, is pursuing negotiations with key stakeholders regarding a comprehensive restructuring plan to stabilize operations and recapitalize its balance sheet.
