Carrier Completes $3.1 Billion Sale of Chubb Fire and Security Business

Paul, Weiss advised Carrier Global Corporation, the leading global provider of healthy, safe, sustainable and intelligent building and cold chain solutions, in the $3.1 billion sale of its Chubb fire and security business to APi Group Corporation. The sale provides Carrier with $2.6 billion in net proceeds available for capital deployment in 2022, including a $750 million debt paydown and $1.6 billion in share repurchases.
