KPS Capital Partners to Sell Motor Coach Industries for $480 Million

Paul, Weiss client KPS Capital Partners, LP announced that it had agreed through an affiliate to sell its portfolio company Motor Coach Industries International, Inc., a leading manufacturer of intercity coaches in the U.S. and Canada, to New Flyer Industries Inc. for consideration of approximately $480 million. Completion of the transaction, which is expected during the fourth quarter, is subject to customary closing conditions.
