Dave Curran Discusses ESG’s Impact on Corporate Reputation in RepTrak’s “Ultimate ESG Guide”

Sustainability and ESG Advisory Practice Co-Chair Dave Curran discussed the importance of ESG with reputation, data and insights company RepTrak in its “Ultimate ESG Guide.” The guide addresses why companies should care about ESG, how ESG considerations impact corporate reputation, and the intersection of ESG and governance (including law). Dave highlighted the need for qualitative and quantitative measurement of ESG metrics; the legal side of ESG; and the value of a good reputation.
“Reputation is the most important and valuable asset of any organization long term. It can, and should, be measured using analytics just like you’d measure other components of your business,” Dave says. “Making sure you pressure-test and validate public #ESG commitments is a great way to strengthen your brand and protect against downside risks.”
