SEC Approves Rule Changes for Foreign Private Issuers and Proposes a Roadmap for Transition to IFRS for U.S. Issuers

The SEC has adopted, as expected, three sets of rule changes impacting SEC reporting companies that are foreign private issuers. Among them is a shortening of the time period for filing annual reports from 6 months to 4 months.
