David Huntington Quoted in Bloomberg Businessweek
Corporate partner David S. Huntington is quoted in the August 12 issue of Bloomberg Businessweek in an article discussing how business owners considering an initial public offering can protect their equity stake. The article notes that entrepreneurs are often lucky to retain five to ten percent of the equity of their business by the time the company is close to listing. Once investors accumulate a controlling position on the board, founders can be pushed aside for a new executive selected by the investors.
