MetroNet Announces New Investments from KKR and Oak Hill Capital

Paul, Weiss is advising U.S. fiber-optic broadband services provider MetroNet in a co-investment by KKR and Oak Hill Capital. As part of the transaction, Oak Hill, a long-time partner in MetroNet, and KKR, a new partner, will each make new investments to help accelerate MetroNet's growth in building and connecting fiber-to-the-premise (FTTP) data, television and telephone services to homes and businesses. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2021, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. Financial terms were not released.
