Today's New York Law Journal "Second Circuit Review" features an article written by Martin Flumenbaum and Brad Karp titled, "Another 23(f) Class Cert Petition Granted." The article examines the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit June 30 order in Miles v. Merrill Lynch & Co, granting a petition for leave to appeal, pursuant to Rule 23(f), Judge Shira Scheindlin's opinion and order certifying six test classes in In re Initial Public Offering (IPO) Securities Litigation.
