Paul, Weiss has been shortlisted in six categories as part of the 2016 China Law & Practice Awards. The nominations include "M&A Deal of the Year" for our role in representing Baidu in the $3.4 billion Ctrip and Qunar merger; "Real Estate & Construction Deal of the Year" for our involvement in the Shanghai Disney Resort project; "TMT Deal of the Year" for our role in the $1 billion Bona Film privatization transaction; and "M&A Firm of the Year - International" and "TMT Firm of the Year - International."
The winners of the China Law & Practice Awards, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary, will be announced at a gala dinner on September 21 in Beijing.
