Legal Issues in the Theatre Industry

Entertainment counsel Carol Kaplan discussed creative-rights structures in the theatre industry in comparison to mediated entertainment industries on the panel, "Legal Issues in the Theatre Industry." The event is part of an annual symposium sponsored by theVanderbilt Journal of Entertainment & Technology Law. This year's symposium, "From Berne to Beijing: The Past, Present, and Future of Performers' Rights," also featured a presentation by Congressman Jim Cooper. The event will took place on January 25 in Nashville.
