RSC Holdings Acquired by United Rentals
As reported on December 16 in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek and other media outlets, Paul, Weiss client RSC Holdings, Inc. and United Rentals, Inc. announced a definitive merger agreement. United Rentals will acquire RSC in a transaction valued at $4.2 billion. The proposed transaction will create a leading North American equipment rental company which is expected to accelerate United Rental's growth with industrial customers.
