Description of Program and Relief

Chicagoland Trans Relief Fund

Brave Space Alliance, in partnership with the Trans Liberation Collective, has launched the COVID-19 Trans Relief Fund, which is providing relief grants of up to $200 to trans, non-binary, and intersex individuals in the Chicagoland area, particularly the South and West sides, currently dealing with financial hardship.

Applicants must:

  • Be a trans, non-binary, or intersex individual residing in the Chicagoland area; and

  • Specify the amount of relief requested (typically $50-$200) and describe how the individual plans to use the funds.

Funds will be provided as direct deposits via CashApp or PayPal.
