Description of Program and Relief

City of Louisville: Interest-Free Small Business Loan of Up To $25,000

The Small Business Continuity Loan Program will provide zero-interest loans, with no payments for 12 months, to small businesses (10 full-time employees or fewer) impacted by COVID-19. Small businesses can receive up to $25,000 to cover immediate expenses.

The borrower must agree to receive financial coaching and apply for other assistance within ninety (90) days of loan closing. However, if other assistance is not procured by the end of the term, the loan is renewable for additional four (4) years at a 5.0% APR. No prepayment penalty if other assistance is secured and used to pay off loan early.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Business must have 10 or fewer employees; show emergency connected with COVID-19 economic crisis; be located in Jefferson County, KY and be in good standing with Louisville Metro Revenue Commission as of March 1, 2020, verified by LHOME staff.
