Description of Program and Relief

Community Renewal Team

During the COVID-19 outbreak, the Community Renewal Team is continuing to provide food to seniors in Middlesex, Tolland, and Hartford Counties. The team is making grab-and-go lunches available at local senior centers and delivering meals to seniors who are homebound.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

To receive a grab-and-go meal, individuals must:

  • Complete a registration form.

  • To qualify for meal delivery, applicants must be:

  • 60 or older;

  • Unable to eat at one of the Café locations listed here (under the dropdown menu bar that reads “Café Locations”); and

  • Assessed and designated medically homebound through an interview by Community Renewal Team staff.
