Description of Program and Relief
Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation COVID-19 Relief
In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Lambda Theta Alpha Foundation is providing grants of up to $250 to support individuals in need. The fund will prioritize displaced individuals and those needing support to sustain their livelihood due to COVID-19.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
To be eligible for COVID-19 relief, individuals must either:

Be a displaced student who has incurred (i) expenses for transportation home, (ii) temporary housing costs; or (iii) expenses for food or supplies due to unpaid wages;

Have tested positive for COVID-19 and incurred expenses for food or supplies due to unpaid wages resulting from COVID-19; or
-
Have lost employment and incurred expenses due to unpaid wages, but without having tested positive for COVID-19.
Applicants may be asked to provide:

A letter and/or statement from a business or employer that closed due to COVID-19, resulting in unemployment;
-
A letter and/or statement from a university that closed and did not provide housing;

Documentation from a medical provider confirming that the individual tested positive for COVID-19; and/or
-
Proof that damages or need are not covered by insurance.
