Description of Program and Relief

Macon Arts Alliance’s Creative Response Artist Relief Fund

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Macon Arts Alliance has established the Creative Response Fund to provide direct support for artists in Central Georgia. The Creative Response Fund will distribute grants between $500 to $1,000 to artists and creative professionals facing financial emergencies due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

To qualify, individuals must:

  • Reside and work in Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Houston, Jones, Monroe, Peach, or Twiggs County;

  • Be a practicing artist or creative who is able to demonstrate a current and sustained commitment to their work;

  • Rely on a significant portion of their income from artistic endeavors;

  • Be experiencing acute financial emergencies due to the COVID-19 pandemic; and

  • Be at least 21 years old.
