Description of Program and Relief

Rockwall County Helping Hands

Rockwall County Helping Hands’ Assistance and Referral program is providing financial relief to Rockwall County residents who have experienced financial hardship during the COVID-19 outbreak. Financial assistance is provided for critical needs such as shelter, utilities, food, clothing, furniture and household items.

Assistance and Referral Team’s Hours of Operation: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 9 a.m.–12 p.m. and 1 p.m.–4 p.m.

Applicants must provide:

  • An original photo ID (or have their photograph taken by a volunteer);

  • An original ID for all members of their household; and

  • Proof of residency in Rockwall County or the 75189 ZIP code area.
