Description of Program and Relief

YMCA of Orange County

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the YMCA of Orange County is providing child care services for first responders, military personnel, nurses, and other essential workers. As a precautionary measure, check-ins and check-outs are being held outside of classrooms at the YMCA to limit the number of individuals entering the building. Classrooms are also now being cleaned and disinfected more frequently.

Dates Available

Full-day care: Monday through Friday, 6:45 a.m.–6 p.m.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Child care services are available for infants and children up to 12 years of age who reside in Orange County. The cost of care for each child is $60 per day or $250 per week. Parents may apply for financial assistance, which requires submitting supporting documentation concerning household size and income.
