Virtual Notary Services

Pursuant to Executive Order 2020-26, Arizonans can get documents notarized remotely. This measure is consistent with Remote Online Notarization, an Arizona law that takes effect July 1, 2020 and allows for virtual notarization. The Executive Order accelerates this timeline, giving Arizonans an opportunity to utilize virtual notarization during the COVID-19 crisis.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Current, active Arizona notaries must review the applicable Administrative Rules and contract with a vendor to provide technology services before applying. To submit an application to become an electronic or remote notary, click here.
