Description of Program and Relief

Critical Delivery Service for Seniors and People With Disabilities

The County of Los Angeles has launched “Critical Delivery Service,” a free delivery service for seniors and people with disabilities. The service will pick up and deliver groceries, household items, and other vital necessities to these vulnerable populations who are unable to leave their homes to pick up those items on their own due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Items may be delivered 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is no delivery cost.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Delivery services are reserved for those who meet at least one of the following criteria:

1) Aged 60 years and older

2) Individual with a permanent or temporary disability

3) Dependent adults (aged 18-59 years)

Per month, eligible individuals can receive up to 4 deliveries, or 40 miles worth of deliveries, whichever comes first.

Items for delivery must be pre-paid and ready for pick-up.

Contact for More Information

Call (888)-863-7411 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays to request the pick-up and delivery service. Order and pre-pay for your items for pick-up from the pick-up location. A Service Coordinator will then schedule a taxi driver to pick up and deliver your items to you and will call you back to confirm the delivery has been scheduled.
