Description of Program and Relief
Free Installation of Temporary Pick-Up Parking Zones for Restaurants and Retailers

Dates Available
Ongoing until the local emergency period is over, as declared by the Mayor.
Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
Limited to restaurants and retailers within the City of Los Angeles that provide pick-up options. Applicants must indicate that: (1) their business has limited or no onsite parking, (2) existing street parking rules do not work for item pick-up, or (3) there is limited parking availability in the area.
If there is no post (sign post, meter post, street light post, tree, etc.) to mount the temporary parking zone sign in front of the business, a portable barricade to mount the sign will be provided. The applicant must agree to secure the portable barricade when not in use.
Restaurant applicants may apply for a maximum of two pick-up zone parking signs; retail applicants are limited to a maximum of one pick-up parking zone sign.
