Description of Program and Relief
‘Great Plates Delivered’ Meal Delivery Initiative to Support Seniors and Local Restaurants
The City of Pasadena is participating in California’s “Great Plates Delivered” initiative and will provide up to three home-delivered meals a day to qualifying adults who apply and are either 65 and over, or aged 60-64 and in a high-risk group for COVID-19 as defined by the CDC.
This initiative also aims to provide essential economic stimulus to local eateries during the pandemic.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
To be eligible for participation, individuals must be unable to prepare or obtain meals, have no other current assistance from other state or federal nutrition assistance programs, and be either 65 and over, or aged 60-64 and in a high-risk group as defined by the CDC.
