Description of Program and Relief

Meals for Students

During school closures, Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD) will continue providing free breakfast and lunch to all children enrolled in any SMMUSD school or program who need them. Meals may be picked up at four locations: Santa Monica High School, McKinley Elementary, Will Rogers Learning Community in Santa Monica, and Webster Elementary in Malibu.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

All students under the age of 18 will be served. Students may pick up meals from any of the four distribution schools, regardless of whether they are enrolled there. High school students may pick up meals on their own, but a parent or guardian must be present with younger students.

Meals are available for pickup from the four designated schools from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. It is unclear from the SMMUSD announcement whether meal pickup is limited to weekdays or also includes weekends.
