Online Job Platform for Workers Displaced by COVID-19 (OnwardCA.org)

On April 3, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom announced the creation of OnwardCa.org, an online platform and initiative to connect workers displaced by COVID-19 with essential life services and job opportunities in critical industries.The OnwardCA platform is available to California workers impacted by job loss during the COVID-19 pandemic. It aims to provide services in three areas. First, it will connect displaced workers to essential life services such as money, food and shelter. Second, it will connect displaced workers to retraining opportunities. Third, it will connect displaced workers to job opportunities.
