Description of Program and Relief

Residential Rent Freeze

On March 30, 2020, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti announced a freeze on rent increases for residential units that are subject to the City’s Rent Stabilization Ordinance. Tenants occupying these units will not be subject to any new rent increase through 12 months after the expiration of the local emergency period.
