Description of Program and Relief

Santa Clara Unified School District Meal Service

During school closures, the Santa Clara Unified School District (SCUSD) will provide free “grab and go” meals for students who rely on school meals during normal school operations. Every Monday while schools are closed for the COVID-19 crisis, students who need meal assistance may pick up five breakfasts and five lunches from one of seven school locations. Students may also pick up breakfasts and lunches for both weekend days on Thursdays

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Weekday meals are available for pickup on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations: Mayne Elementary School, Don Callejon K-8 School, Montague Elementary School, Wilcox High School, Buchser Middle School, Peterson Middle School, and Cabrillo Middle School. Weekend meals are available for pickup on Thursdays from 2-3:30 p.m. at the following locations: Cabrillo Middle School, Don Callejon School, Wilcox High School, and the Santa Clara Senior Center. Meals are available for each child 18 years of age or under, and each developmentally disabled adult, in families that rely on schools to provide breakfast and lunch during normal SCUSD operations.
