Description of Program and Relief
Suspension of Water Shut-Offs Due to Non-Payment
The two water providers for the City of Chula Vista, Sweetwater Authority and Otay Water District, are temporarily suspending water service disconnections for non-payment. Otay Water District is also waiving late fees until further notice.
These suspensions do not change the obligation of utility customers to pay their water bills in a timely fashion and do not relieve customers of liability for missed or late payments.
