Description of Program and Relief

Temporary “Stay-at-Home” Housing for Homeless Individuals

The Housing Authority of Riverside County, in partnership with certain Riverside County hotels and motels with vacancies, will be providing homeless individuals with emergency temporary shelter during the current statewide “stay-at-home” order. The temporary housing will be available until the order is lifted.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Eligible homeless individuals include those who are currently unsheltered and (1) 65 years old or older, (2) pregnant, (3) have a serious chronic health condition such as heart disease, diabetes, or lung disease, or (4) have a compromised immune system.
