Wage Claim Extensions

Governor Gavin Newsom has issued an executive order that, among others, extends deadlines for workers to file wage claims with the Labor Commissioner.

The Executive Order provides for a 60-day extension to file wage claims with the Labor Commission to the limited extent that the deadline to file such claim would otherwise fall between May 7, 2020 and July 6, 2020.
