Description of Program and Relief

Free, Rapid COVID-19 Testing Center in New Haven

Multiple Connecticut government agencies are partnering with CVS Health to provide a rapid COVID-19 testing center in New Haven for Connecticut residents experiencing certain COVID-19 symptoms. The test results will be delivered in 30 minutes at no cost to patients. All patients seeking to get tested will be required to pre-register online here and schedule a time slot prior to arriving at the test side (the former Gateway Community College parking lot at 60 Sargent Drive, New Haven). Tests can be scheduled for the same day or up to two days in advance, and anyone who does not have an appointment will not be tested.

When patients arrive, they are required to stay in their vehicles, and team members will check their registration and guide them through the testing process. The process takes approximately 30 minutes from the collection of the swab to the delivery of the results.
