Notice of Extension of Expiration Dates for DMV-Issued Products in Light of COVID-19

In light of COVID-19, the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has announced certain waivers and extensions. The full list is available here and here. The list includes extended expiration dates for licenses, permits, identity cards, vehicle and boat registrations, disabled parking placards, school bus proficiency tests, and business licenses. Eligible DMV credentials that expire between March 10, 2020, and June 30, 2020, are extended 180 days. Eligible DMV credentials that expire between July 1, 2020, and September 30, 2020, are extended 90 days.
