Description of Program and Relief
Extension of Certain Personal Income and State Corporate Tax Return Filing Deadlines in Light of COVID-19
Filing deadlines for certain personal income tax returns that would be due on April 30,2020 will now be due on July 15, 2020 in light of COVID-19. If a taxpayer needs additional time beyond the extended due date, taxpayers may request an extension requesting additional time to file through Delaware’s Division of Revenue’s online system. This will provide an automatic extension of time to file to October 15, 2020. Filing deadlines for certain annual state corporate tax returns will now be due on July 15, 2020 in light of COVID-19.

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions
The affected tax returns are:

Forms 1100 (corporate tax return) – filing date extended to July 15, 2020

Form 1027 (personal income tax return) – filing date deadline extended to July 15, 2020
Application Deadlines (If Applicable)
Personal income tax payments that are due on April 30, 2020 are extended to July 15, 2020. Second quarter payments remain due on June 15, 2020.
Final corporate income tax returns are due July 15, 2020.
