Description of Program and Relief

Free Meal Distribution and Delivery Routes for Students

The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is providing all DeKalb County students 2 lunches and 2 snacks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 10 a.m. to noon at 21 different schools. DCSD is also using buses to deliver grab-and-go bags directly to students in the community at 87 distribution stops. For meal distribution sites, see here. Children do not need to show identification or qualify for the school free or reduced cost meal program to receive meals. Parents can pick up meals for children but must provide a signed “Grab-and-Go” verification form each day stating the student’s name, age, and school. Parents or children may pick up meals at any distribution site regardless of the school the child attends.
