Description of Program and Relief
Moratorium on Water Shutoffs
Atlanta Mayor Keisha Bottoms has directed the Commissioner of Watershed Management to refrain from taking any action which would result in the termination of water services for any Watershed Management customer due to non-payment for the period between March 11, 2020 and June 30, 2020. Watershed Management customers are obligated to pay their utility bills, even though water shutoffs have been suspended.
