Department of Hawaiian Home Lands Loan Deferral

Hawaii’s Department of Hawaiian Home Lands is postponing all mortgage payments from April 2020 through September 2020.

Applies to payments owed April 2020 through September 2020

Eligibility Requirements/Restrictions

Borrowers with mortgage loan payments for DHHL direct loans and loans assigned to DHHL will not be billed for loan payments from April 2020 through September 2020. Borrowers who require additional 6 months of postponement may request further postponement from DHHL. Borrowers may still choose to make mortgage payments and DHHL will process any payments it receives.
