Description of Program and Relief

Resource Coordination Center to Assist Livestock Producers

On April 30, 2020, the Iowa Secretary of Agriculture announced the creation of a Resource Coordination Center (RCC) to support Iowa livestock producers affected by COVID-19 supply chain disruptions. Through the RCC, livestock industry experts, state agencies and technical specialists will assist Iowa livestock producers to explore options concerning financial resources, harvesting livestock, and meeting the dietary needs of Iowans. Livestock producers may contact the RCC telephonically with questions or visit the RCC’s website and explore available resources.
