Renewal of Licenses for Sale of Liquor

Description of Program and Relief

Maine’s emergency legislation in in response to the COVID-19 pandemic provides that during the state of emergency declared by the Governor, and 30 days following the termination of the state of emergency, municipal officers or county commissioners may grant the request for a renewal of a license for sale of liquor without a hearing.
