Description of Program and Relief
Medicaid Programs
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) provides health care for qualifying Michigan residents through Medicaid programs, which provide comprehensive health care coverage for eligible Michiganders. The programs include:

MIChild, which provides complete health care coverage for people aged 19 and under who do not have any other comprehensive health insurance. -
Healthy Michigan Plan, which provides complete health care coverage for people aged 19 to 64 with incomes at or below 133% of the federal poverty level. -
Healthy Kids, which provides complete health care coverage for pregnant women and children aged 19 and under.
