Description of Program and Relief

Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC)

The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) predates COVID-19, but can be used by eligible participants at this time, including those affected by COVID-19.

WIC helps families by providing nutrition education, breastfeeding support, vouchers for healthy foods, and referrals to healthcare, and other community services. The WIC Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program provides checks to buy fruits, vegetables, and herbs from farmers’ markets and roadside stands.
