Extension of Payment and Filing Deadlines for 2019 and 1st and 2nd Quarter 2020 Individual Income Taxpayers in Light of COVID-19

The payment and filing deadlines for 2019 individual income taxpayers are extended to July 15, 2020, in light of COVID-19. The deadlines for those making estimated tax payments for the first and second quarters of 2020 is July 15, 2020. The Montana Department of Revenue has said it will be lenient in waiving penalties and interest associated with late tax payments and the Department will work with taxpayers on an individual basis.
