Suspension of Commercial Motor Vehicle Restrictions in Light of COVID-19

In light of COVID-19, the State of Montana has suspended certain restrictions on commercial motor vehicles in Montana. Specifically, commercial motor vehicles are relieved of the “hours of service” requirements so that supplies can be delivered more readily, and the weight limit for commercial vehicles has been temporarily increased by 10 percent. No special permit is required.
