Description of Program and Relief

Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) for Low-Income Elderly

CSFP works to supplement the diets of low-income elderly persons at least 60 years of age. USDA foods are made available to state agencies, which in turn provide eligible persons with nutritious USDA Foods. The Nevada Department of Agriculture distributes the food to eligible persons at no cost. These offerings were previously in place, and remain in place in response to COVID-19.
